Giant PA/Martin's Gas Rewards Matchups 6/24-6/30

Here are the Giant PA/Martin’s Bonus Gas Rewards Deals for the week of 6/24-6/30! Remember that the pricing and deals can vary by ad, so please check your ad or shelf tags before proceeding with a deal. You will find similar items on Gas Rewards at Stop N Shop and Giant MD the week of 6/22-6/28.

Giant PA/Martin’s has made a change to the Gas Rewards program for the cycle that starts Sunday, June 24. There is now a limit of 10 Gas Rewards deals allowed per category. For example, this week, you could do 10 Buy 7 deals, 10 Buy 6 deals and 10 buy 5 deals. Next Sunday, you will start fresh with the limits. They say this will be tracked, and the limit is per household. So even if you have 2 different Bonus Cards for your household, with the same address, it would be a limit of 10 total. They are doing this to ensure stock for everyone. I am not sure how well that will work out. While it is disappointing to see limits put on the deals, I think these are workable.

There were rumors that there was going to be a max of 2000 points at a time or a max discount of $2.00 off each gallon of gas. This is NOT true according to several customer service reps plus what they posted on their Facebook page. They said the only change to the program will be the limits per category.

Weis Coupon Matchups 6/24-6/30

Giant Hershey Park Ticket Promotion 2012

The promotion this year is disappointing, to put it mildly. First all, there are no FREE tickets this year. And the amount you have to spend to get a discount is crazy! 


For the week of 6/24-6/30, when you purchase $50 in selected Kraft products, you will get a coupon for $15 off ONE ticket. This can be used in addition to the regular $11.00 discount Giant offers everyday for buying a Hershey Park ticket at the store.


Regular Price: $56.95
Everyday Giant Discount Pricing: $45.95
With this promotion: $30.95 after you spend $50 on Kraft products.


It also says you have to spend $50 after all discounts and coupons. It always has said that, and the coupon part was not true in the past. I guess we will have to wait and see this year. Personally, I will not be doing this. In order to get 4 tickets, I would have to spend $200 in Kraft products, and then another $124 for the tickets. This is not worth it to me.


Another thing I noticed is that, normally, when you buy 2 Hershey Park tickets from Giant, you get a FREE parking pass ($12 value). On their website it says these passes will have to be used by 6/30.

Weis Dairy Savings update!!!

The Weis instant savings on Dairy Products is not working like it had in the past. But it isn't going off of sale price either. It's very odd, and hopefully it is just a coding issue and not the new way things will be done. You can see the original post HERE.

From testing this and talking to others who have done the deal and got it to work, I have discovered  something.

You can buy $12.00 Shelf Price of Dairy Products, and you will NOT get the $3.00 instant savings UNTIL your transaction total is $12.00 (after your Weis card, but before coupons). The other items you buy can be anything in the store.

Here is an example of what I bought that worked:

2 Friendly's Ice Creams @$2.50 each ($5.99 each shelf price)
1 YoCrunch Yogurt @$0.60 ($0.89 shelf price)
4 Hot Pockets @$2.00 each

Total Before Coupons: $13.60
-$3.00 Dairy Discount
-2 $0.95/2 IP Hot Pockets *doubled to $1.90

Paid $6.80 for all!

The $3.00 dairy discount DID NOT come off until I scanned the last Hot Pocket, which took my total above $12.00. I did 4 different transactions with Ice Cream, Iced Coffee, YoCrunch and GoGurt, and it worked like this on all of them, no matter which order I scanned the items. I couldn't get the Smart Balance Milk to work at all though, even when my sale price went about $12.00. I think there is a coding issue with it. I also noticed the ad says "Lactose Free" which is the Purple Smart Balance, but the picture is of the Blue, which is Fat Free, but not Lactose Free.
